The absolutely fantastic McCutcheon’s Blog had me over yesterday for my first (of hopefully many) guest post. I came up with a recipe for baked beans using their Strawberry Jalapeno Barbecue Sauce that would be perfect for any Summer cook-out or celebration. (Hint, hint. Father’s Day is this Sunday.)

If you haven’t heard of McCutcheon’s. They are a family owned and operated business, four generations deep. I’ve definitely mentioned their products here before, most recently their canned peaches, pickles and root beer. They make fruit preserves/jams/jellies/spreads that will blow your mind and their bread & butter pickles are second to none! We are so lucky to have the factory store right here in Frederick. Don’t worry too much though if you don’t live in the area, they do have an online shop.0
