I’m sure there are holiday parties and happy hours taking over your calendar right now. Maybe your even hosting one yourself, more power to ya! I don’t think I’ll be playing hostess again until 2013, but I figured some of you might be in need of a festive appetizer or snack during these last few festive weeks of the year.
This is really just a small wheel of brie (blue brie to be exact, found at Wegmans) that I topped with some fresh cranberries and honey and tossed in the oven for a bit. You can’t ever go wrong with warm brie and the cranberries just add the right touch of holiday color.
These are some sweet potato skin bites. Basically a riff on Jessica’s (of How Sweet It Is) Apple Bacon Stuffed Sweet Potatoes. I simply cut the sweet potato skins into bite size pieces and crisped them up a bit in the oven. I also just mixed ALL of the stuffing ingredients together before topping the sweet potato skins. (I also enjoyed just eating the filling with a spoon.)
The last one I have made before, but for some reason I completely dropped the ball and didn’t photograph it. Granted, it was gobbled up fairly quickly. A Cozy Kitchen’s Spicy Caramel Bacon Popcorn is perfect for cocktail parties and gifting alike.
Have you already created your holiday party menu(s) for this year? What will you be making?
