An ideal Sunday for me looks like the following:
Shop the farmer’s market (with Chandler and, if I’m lucky, Rob in tow after a leisurely morning walk) —> a quick trip to the grocery store for anything else we need for the week —> a few hours in the kitchen getting meals and snacks prepped for the work week —> catching up on a favorite tv show or reading a few chapters of a good book —> a great dinner —> some sort of spa-like self-treatment —> and recharging the batteries with a good nights sleep

After a month in our adorable, new-to-us home though we’re finally starting to feel settled in and yesterday stacked up pretty well against my ideal. I made Tigernut Breakfast Cookies & Thai Summer Squash Curry both from In My Bowl, Sweet Potato & Turkey Patties with Kimchee Ketchup from Kathryn Budig and Basil Pesto from Bon Appetit.
This girl still likes to do a little cooking most nights as a wind down from work so also on the menu this week are a whole roast chicken with pesto zoodles, pizza (probably topped with pineapple, avocado, red onion and nduja and/or olives, artichokes, cherry tomatoes, red onion & greens), avocado tuna melts and salads, salads and more salads.
