Tis the season of parties, which means its also the season of appetizers. As the mini bites that are meant to whet your appetite are actually my favorite part of any meal, I look forward to this season immensely. Some of my favorite holiday appetizers include bacon wrapped dates, stuffed mushrooms & baked brie. Oh especially baked brie! Doesn’t matter what kind of preserve you put on top of it, if it’s bubbly and covered with something sweet, it’s my favorite. These crostini were made with baked brie in mind. The crusty bread, creamy brie, tart orange, sweet agave and savory thyme create a sophisticated flavor all packed into one or two bites and take almost no time to assemble. I know there are occasions when last minute guests require a last minute appetizer and crostini are one of my go tos when time is of the essence.
